Sweet 7 Months

I'm a tad late posting Carter's 7 month pictures.  He doesn't have another appointment with the doctor until he's 9 months, so I weighed him the other day and he was 22.2 pounds.  7 months and 22lbs!  Haha, he's a healthy eater and a super happy baby.  He's always smiling!

*  He has started rocking back and forth to toys that play music.  His dancing skills are that of his daddy, but cute none the less.

*  He has started to say MaMa  MaMa 2 weeks ago.

*  He is an AMAZING sleeper.  He sleeps anywhere from 12-14 hours at night plus two 2 hour naps a day.  I'm one lucky mommy!

*  He loves Brody!  Brody lurks around slowly and Carter just laughs.

*  He's eating like a super champ.  He has cereal and a fruit in the morning, cereal-2 veggies-a meat for dinner, and about 3-6oz bottles throughout the day.

*  He knows no stranger....yet!

We Have a Scooter

Last Thursday Carter started scooting to get to things he really wanted, ie the remote, my computer, my cell phone, and my camera.  On Saturday he had improved his scooting techniques and I think he'll be up on all fours before I know it!

Big Boy Brody

A few weeks ago Scott installed a cat door to our basement for Brody.
Simply stated, Brody is a FAT cat (about 16 pounds) and Scott insisted on getting a "small" cat door.  I told him not to throw the box away and hang on to the receipt because we may be taking it back to get the "large" cat door.  Haha!

I Love My Girls!

Me and my girlfriends recently got together.  It had been a super long time and it was really really nice to see everyone, and see the babies together.  :)

Carter and Cooper, both 6 months.  Such big boys, growing so fast!

Too cute!  I think they are finally starting to understand there is another baby around to play with...or stare at!

Me and Cooper!

Mommy and Carter!

I love my girls and miss them all to pieces!!

Pumpkin Picking

Scott and I took Carter to a place called Wiard's Orchard Saturday.  We'd never been before so it was fun to check it out.  Fun, however, it was $23 just to get in the place.  And pumpkins were $7 each on top of admission.  Holy crap!  We did get a free hay ride with the $23 admission, but needless to say we left without a pumpkin.

The pumpkins were huge!  Carter loved them!  You should have seen Scott and I trying to get pictures with him.  There was sooooo much going on around us it was really hard to capture his attention and get smiles.  We looked like and sounded like idiots, but we did end up with a few cute ones.

Hope everyone has and is having a great fall, a great Halloween too!

Trip to Ohio

October 1st was my dad's 56th birthday, so while Scott was in Arizona for the week Carter and I made a visit down to Ohio to celebrate a few times.

We went to Larosas for pizza Wednesday and Carter had his first baby food meal out AND his first pizza crust.  A taste of yummy adult food.  He loved it and screamed for a few when I took it away.  Ha!  We went to Classic Pizza the next day for lunch with my grandma, uncle, and dad and I gave him a dill pickle.  He loved that too!  He really is my son.  I don't have a picture of that but he didn't make a single face when he put it in his mouth.  He just sucked down on it like a pacifier.

I rallied all of mom and dad's friends together for a surprise dinner at Bullwinkles.  Dad knew we were going there for dinner, but didn't know we were going to be joined by 4 other people. He was totally surprised!

In this picture, dad was giving Carter his first taste of chocolate.  He really like that too.  After I caught dad, I snapped this picture and then told dad to lay off the chocolate!  Haha!

Friday, October 2nd, we went to Titus for a going away party for the school's aid, Kim Magby. She is going to Texas so of course in true Titus fashion, the theme for the luncheon was Tex Mex and everyone came in "Texas" attire.  I found Carter a cowboy hat at the $ Tree.
